New Food: Sushi (not totally new, but I found a new appreciation for it this year).

Laugh: Again... bachelorette party. Think girls, alcohol, stripper poles, and inappropriate confessions! Love it!

Resolution: Not to stress/worry as much... I am really proud of myself. I feel so much calmer.

Moment of Peace: Realizing what I can't control.

Friend Moment: Being there when my friends had their babies this year.

Scariest Moment: When Ethan was in the PICU... very, very worried for him, Alison & Mike.

Achievement: Growing a baby... I think this will always be very high on my list of achievements.

Overall Memory: Being with my husband when we found out we were going to be parents!!

My First Southern California Christmas!

Baby Cosato Update!!

We just got back from our 20- week ultrasound... WOW! It was even better than I thought!! We saw the baby scratching his/her head, open and close his/her mouth and move all around! Isn't he/she cute?? We are pretty sure we have a model on our hands!! :) Nope... we didn't find out the gender, although it was quite tempting! The best part is that the baby measured a few days bigger than we thought!! Yeah!

We had such a fabulous Thanksgiving! Tish & Greg opened their (newly re-done) house to our family! Great food, great friends!

Family Time

I know the Holidays are approaching because I am starting to see some family that I don't get to see as often as I'd like! That is one of my absolute favorite things about this time of year... spending time with family and friends, catching up and eating! Last weekend my fabulous mom put together a pre-Thanksgiving/ fall-winter birthday celebration for all of us lucky enough to be born in November and December! It was a wonderful evening!! :-)

Sleepless in Seattle

We spent the weekend in very, very chilly Seattle. It was a fabulous fall getaway!

My baby makes my heart skip a beat!

I rented a fetal doppler, so that I can listen to baby Cosato's heartbeat whenever the heck I want... and it finally came yesterday!! I instantly tore open the package and pressed that thing to my tummy- poor, confused Natalie walked into my house to me laying on the couch, pants pretty far down and frozen with excitement last night- We couldn't find the heartbeat at first, but then after a few very long minutes, there it was! I couldn't stop listening all night... I would have slept with the doppler attached to me and the volume all the way up all night, if I could figure out how to keep it in place! :-)

It's Fall!

Us ladies (being the incredible modern women we are) decided to devote a FULL day of cooking a Thanksgiving dinner (turkey and all) for our hubbies and kids. We met up in the morning to grocery shop and then hit the kitchen all day! It turned out darn good... the men were impressed! :)

It's Halloweeeen Time!

We stayed home and passed out candy on Halloween... but Rocco thought it would be funny to dress up like a stuffed person (or something like that) and scare the trick or treaters. He was a hit!

I gave up my Sunday morning and supported my husband's football team... we rooted on the Steelers as they defeated the Vikings!!

On Saturday night, us girls got together for drinks (I had a virgin daquiri) and dinner! Love my girls! ;-)

We heart Brad Paisley!

It was a "Paisley" weekend! We decided (at the last minute) to go see Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley in concert! It was a good show!! We love them!
